Fragrance concentration comparator

Velario’s concentration comparator shows the arithmetic difference between 35%, 20%, and 10% on the same percentage basis. In a hypothetical 50 ml mixture measured by volume, those percentages represent 17.5, 10, and 5 ml. Concentration alone cannot convert into wear hours or prove which fragrance lasts longer.

What does a concentration percentage represent?

A percentage expresses a fraction of a whole. The measurement basis matters: a percentage by mass is not interchangeable with a percentage by volume. This calculator uses a stated volume assumption for arithmetic. It does not disclose the production formula or density of a Velario fragrance.

At 50 ml on a volume basis: 35% = 17.5 ml; 20% = 10 ml; 10% = 5 ml. Wear duration is not calculable from these percentages.

Does 35% last 75% longer than 20%?

No such conclusion follows. Thirty-five is 75% greater than twenty, but that numerical ratio applies to the concentration figures. It is not a longevity multiplier. The formula, application, setting, and detection method must be considered in a wear comparison.

How should you compare actual bottles?

Check the exact product edition, stated format, bottle size, and ingredient information. Then compare wear under a consistent method. Velario Aqua is labeled 35% extrait in a 50 ml bottle; that catalog specification is separate from a measured wear result.

Concentration descriptors vary: IFRA explains the limits of fragrance-format terminology. Twenty and ten percent are hypothetical inputs here, not universal definitions of EDP and EDT.
