Fragrance cost-per-wear calculator
Velario’s cost-per-wear calculator compares bottle prices using your chosen bottle size, sprays per wear, and milliliters per spray. A $49.99, 50 ml bottle costs about $0.40 per wear at four sprays of 0.10 ml each. That is an arithmetic example, not a measured spray output or wear-duration claim.
| Bottle | Price / size | Estimated wears | Cost per wear |
|---|---|---|---|
| Velario example | $49.99 / 50 ml | 125 | $0.40 |
| Editable reference example | $300 / 100 ml | 250 | $1.20 |
What does each bottle cost per wear?
Bottle A: 125 estimated wears at $0.40 each. Bottle B: 250 estimated wears at $1.20 each.
How is cost per wear calculated?
Volume per wear = sprays per wear × ml per spray. Estimated wears = bottle volume ÷ volume per wear. Cost per wear = price ÷ estimated wears. The same application assumptions apply to both bottles. Unused liquid, evaporation, taxes, shipping, discounts, and reapplication are excluded.
Does a lower cost mean better performance?
No. This tool compares quantity and price. It does not measure scent quality, projection, longevity, or preference. Atomizers differ. Replace the assumed spray volume with your own measurement. The $300 bottle is an editable example, not a quoted designer product price.
